This subject will be an anathema to some denizens in this section so, rather than post the details here, I have made a post about [spit] the integrated satnav [/spit] on the V85/100 in the tech section. I discovered a little quirk and a fix.
I run this app on my Android phone. It is handy to have as a back-up to the Zumo. It uses Here maps like Garmin. I have tested it on a trip to the coast and the navigation is pretty decent, once you realise you have to press the red soft button on the phone to make the phone share the routing to the bike every time you switch off the ignition even for a moment to take a piss. The MG App can import GPX routes so it makes sense to transfer my routes for a forthcoming trip to the app as a back-up.
