1. Senior/Experienced Motorcycle Technician
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Senior/Experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our long established BMW Motorrad workshop team at our prestigious motorcycle dealership in Peterborough, working with one of the leading brands in the UK.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should have experience of working in a franchised workshop environment, a sound knowledge of the latest computerised diagnostic equipment and be fully competent in the service, repair and diagnostics of motorcycles to the meet our customer’s high standards. You will need to be enthusiastic as well as being able to work well within a team.
Essential
You should have technical experience within an automotive workshop and be able to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner to high exacting standards.
You must be a self-motivated with a flexible attitude and have a good attention to detail.
A current and full motorcycle driver's licence is essential.
Benefits
A very competitive salary package will be paid to the successful candidate which will be negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
Full training will be provided on all our products as necessary.
Working Week: Tuesday - Saturday.
2. Parts Advisor
Job Description.
We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor who will be able to bring their passion and enthusiasm into a leading motorcycle franchised dealership. This is a demanding role but for the right candidate a highly rewarding one also. Duties include but are not exclusive to:
• Running a busy parts department, ensuring the smooth & efficient running of the workshop as well as looking after direct customer orders
• Have good IT skills & be able to work with BMW & In house systems
• Making sure all stock levels are kept correct including running regular stock checks and audits.
• Organising all data capture to ensure that customers are communicated effectively.
• Making sure that Aftersales CSI scores reflect the expectations of the business and manufacturer.
• Developing and maximising every opportunity for the sale of parts & accessories.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in a busy parts department in either the motorcycle or automotive industries.
Essential
A passion for motorcycles is an absolute must as is the ability work in a methodical manner.
Good technical knowledge of motorcycles together with the ability to communicate clearly with both the workshop and customers.
A full motorcycle and driving licence.
Working conditions
We are open from Tuesday to Saturday every week. We are closed on Sundays & Mondays.
20 days holiday in addition to Bank holidays.
