Here and there, now and then.
For the last few years I've got by using a twinmax to balance carbs etc; however as I have recently acquired a couple of Honda CB750's I need to buy a set of 4 Vacuum gauges, I've heard the Davida ones are top quality, any opinions as what to get? I suppose I'll end up doing a couple of mates triumph triples with them so they won't be wasted.

, I've heard the Davida ones are top quality,

Are they still the "spring" tensioned dials type = The springs won't all have the same "strength", especially after they've been used a few times and aged a bit.

Carbtune gauges would be better.
They may not look as professional as the davida gauges, but you don't want to just look at them, do you .
You want them to work, and still be working and as accurate in a few years time . ( says the owner of a set of 24 year old morgan carbtune gauges)

My mate has a nifty Yamaha carb tune that basically works by passing up to 6 cylinders through one gauge, and you use a dial to switch between them. So this means that as each cyclinder is essentially being measured by the same gauge any readings are relative to the other cylinders, so you never need to calibrate it!

Very easy to use as I found out.

But you probably need to calibrate your wallet to get one, so Carbtune II for me...
