Valve sizes for R80GS

Hi all - got a quick question as i'm putting in an order with motobins tonite. Are the valves for my 1991 R80GS para 42 & 40mm? The clymer say they are but Motobins list them as 38.
My heads are at the machine shop & the engineer was away today so i couldn't measure them.

from first hand experience, i know that motobins don't understand this

87> model year bikes have 40mm inlet valves. the seat angle is different as well.
