vario panniers ratchet system screwed - help?

Panniers came with my 1200, but the expandy mechanism is sticking. Can this be fixed, mechanism replaced?

I had a similar problem with one a few years ago after I caught it on a wall

It was quite straight forward to strip down, a bit of Vaseline and the job's a goodun'!
