What I want to know is: Does anyone make Ali panniers that will fit ontomy bikes Vario mountings?

I might be selling them Colin, 2x panniers + fittings for 800GS (VGC)...but I need to ensure I've got enough money to buy some Ali biscuit tins first.

I'll give you a heads up on the sale if i do decide to sell.

Who makes Ali panniers that are easily on and offable? 'Cos there's no way the bike will fit through my gateway with the panniers attached..

... and their Safari bags (Pictured) are only 33" wide; but as they've no longer got a European outlet try here.

BMW's own, but sit down before you phone them for a price.

I think the framework for these is wider than that for the Varios, though (I'll measure the width if you're interested).

The main advantage of them is you don't need to carry an extra key, and I think they look good.
