Vario Top Box Lock

Hi Folks, can anyone explain how to remove the lock barrel from a Vario top box. I have the key belong to the existing lock but want to replace the barrel to match the bike key. Thanks

Hi Brenden. the lock barrel has a small clip or pin which must be removed , the lock can then be removed by inserting the key and I think a slight turn of the key, at the right position the lock will slide out, there's I think 4 different tumblers in the lock which you may be able to change around to fit to your Ign. key ( mine did !!! )..... hope this works for you, it did for me........Mike.

Thanks for the info. Jobs done and I was able to use the old lock with 5 pins usable.
