Helmet should fit easily into expanded RH Vario.

I found helmet fitted in the right hand pannier, but my lid didn't fit into the Vario top box. New big bought the Givi top box and there have been no issues with the helmet inside.

The Vario top box is a tight fit for a lid, I wear a medium and my old Arai Condor would fit in but my new Arai Quantum ST doesn't. Try before you buy.

I fitted a Givi top case. But big and bulky so went back to the GSA top case and a Pacsafe.
Hi Guys, just a quick one on this top box, have been offered one froma guy in work who said it would not fit his 2006 model, gave me the moulded part n umber - 7160 7 660 564 does any one know if would fit the triple black 2012?
That looks like the part no. for the right hand side Vario pannier for '04 to '12 R1200GS. So it's no wonder it won't fit as a a top box. In any event the same top box fits the same range of model years from '04 to '12. However, you also need to have the fitting kit which includes a plate that fits on the rear luggage rack.
That's definitely a top box. So he's given you the wrong part no. However, unless I'm much mistaken, it's the top box for a 2013 on LC.

My shark evoline 3 does not fit in any of them even expanded
Schubert C3 56-57 will fit into my Vario top box but only just!
