I think I stuffed to much into it and it will not extend / reduce anymore! Anyone had this and was it worth taking appart to fix it? It works fine fully extended but thought I'd throw up a post. I saw a couple of posts suggesting it could be done but nothing concrete. Cheers!

I found a pivot screw on the expansion handle had come loose in mine shortly after buying the bike. I couldn't get it to restart in the thread to simply do it up myself and, because I'd just bought it, didn't want to take it apart off my own bat. Like you, I thought I'd read of others dismantling theirs to fix it. I contacted the supplying dealer expecting a diagram or instructions of how to sort it (I am a bona fide engineer) but they struggled to come up with anything and while they were working out what to do, I popped into my local dealer on another matter. Whilst I was there, they took a look at my top box - next thing I knew I had a new one under warranty! I can't believe it's not possible to take one apart and put it back together, but the dealers don't seem to be able to do it.

I am certainly not an engineer!

This is user error, just wondering if anyone can suggest anything to fix it! No chance of a warrantee Claim

Take a quick peak inside and pay attention to the red shaft of the tab... in my case, the plastic where the tab sits broke a little bit so sometimes I have to kind of guide the tab in place to be able to "shrink" the box back down.

IF that's not it, there's plenty of tutorials on the youtubes on how to take them apart and diagnose any issues, you sohuld be OK and I know that they do sell replacement parts if there's anything that went bad in the mechanism.

Cheers,
Rami
