Location
Mid wales Where roads were built for bikes
Selling my van as "Just upgrade" due to internal height reasons only.

Owned by me for the last 10 years.
Just over 93 thousand miles.
Always service by me (Between 3 and 5 k miles)
Not long had front discs and pads.
Had a noisy wheel bearing on the rear so had new rear discs and pads also.
New complete handbrake cables. New Rear brake pipes up to abs unit.
It's extremely clean for its age with one slight dent on the rear arch (as picture) few small carpark marks.

The van is fully insulated in the rear with the whole back of it been lined and carpeted. I have slept in it on many occasions and it's nice and warm. Also makes it drive like a car as it's quiet.
Rest of the interior is extremely clean

This has only ever been a car to me with the odd motorcycle and push bikes carried in the back.

Very small issue. I had a tiny bit of clutch judder about 3 years ago so fitted a complete new clutch. (It's a standard clutch not a duel mass rubbish). Anyway... even after fitting it it is still there slightly and they think there may be a hot spot on the fly wheel. It has never really bothered me and is only noticeable reversing up a steep hill. Looking for as close to £5,000 as I can get.

The extra space with it being long wheelbase is extremely useful ;-) mines short wheelbase which makes it extremely easy to park but have often wished it had that extra bit of length inside.

Mmm……. I’ve been looking for a nice clean van……..
Tempting……

Is it a timing belt or chain?
How long is the floor internally?

I can still park it in a parking bay with no issues. My transit is have just bought is the same length externally but is 8 inches wider. Bit of a pain in tight gaps and I did wonder if I had made the right decision initially. Used to it now though.

It's timing chain and the 2.0 115. So no issues with turbos of the 1.6.
Floor internally is 9 foot 2 inches so can fit full sheets of ply or plasterboard if needed.

They do have a habit of skipping a tooth on the chain though because of weak tensioner springs and weak main journal bearings.
DAMHIK.

Engine is sweet as a nut. Wasn't going to change it and wouldn't have if I didn't want a taller van.
So were the ones in both of ours. Until they weren’t. Still have one of them after a new engine. Just pointing out the only weak points other than stuck injectors due to the terrible design of the scuttle panel.

Thanks. Your really helping with my sale 🙄
It's had oil and filters by me every 3 to 5k miles. Didn't plan on selling it which is why I always looked after it. There is no stupid stop start which is the main reason for cam chain failure on modern vehicles, plus the 20k miles service intervals which are ridiculous. Some on ebay with well over 200k so this is very low miles compared and been well looked after as the pictures show.

I've got the same year Vivaro which my Son in Law bought with 20k miles on it. At about 50k it developed a judder which he learnt to live with, I bought it off him at 130k miles and it now has 188k miles on it with the same judder which doesn't bother me. It's still on the original clutch, still on original injectors but I did change the chain myself at 150k miles as a precaution even though the old one was fine.
There's owners with 3 or 400,000 miles on theirs.
GLWTS.

Ok, so where about in mid wales are you? :nenau
I may have a wander over and take a look. :thumb2

A couple more….. :D
1. Does it have that crappy adblue system ( I guessing / hoping it’s too old for it )
2. What’s the RFL cost?
Ta.

So many possibilities with this vehicle! I used to run one to transport moped scooters for a charity I worked for. I often thought I could live without a car when I had the van, they are so versatile.

No adblue
From memory RFL is £320 or there abouts.
I've not had a car for over 15 years, I get approx 38/40 mpg-commuting/daily driving/holidays with 2 motorbikes in the back-which for me means it's not worth having a car.

I’ve had one for my daily driver for six years. It’s been used for everything, bike transport furniture moving camping. My Mrs drove it to the Isle of Wight festival and camped in it they drive like a car.
A great improvement is the Kiravans swivel base for the double seat when camping it opens the van up considerably.
Been to the TT in it four times.
Aldi Gazebo and fifteen quid windbreak.

Ok, you around this weekend at all?
I’d like to pop over and see if it’s going to suit what I’m looking for. :thumb2
