Venom Exhaust replacement for standard

I'm considering a Venom can as a replacement for the standard one on my 1200. I'd like an Akro and had them on my previous KTM but budget won't stretch that far anymore!

The Venom is cheap and looks "OK". It also has removable baffles. I've searched on the site and can't find any recent posts about Venom cans. I'm planning on leaving downpipes ad CAT in place and just fitting this as a slip on.

Baffles out, I did read that it doesn't give a low growly sound so I am likely to modify the baffle. Again, did this with the Akros to great effect. I shortened the baffle and cut four slots top and bottom. I then used an old chisel to push the slots in at alternate angles. The result was a deep reverberating sound which really worked well but was less obnoxious than having the baffles removed completely (It was a SuperDuke and very loud without them).

I am really interested in anyone's experiences with the Venom cans. I know they're cheap and you get what you pay for..

Don't know about venom cans but I've got a Quill titanium end can for sale. Road legal, removable baffle. Nice sound with it in even better when its out. Let me know if you're interested and I'll stick a piccy up.

Dont know about VENOM , But take a look at Beowulf , i have a titanium stubby on my GSA and it's excellent

Quality is very good as is the price , £230 , and that was for titanium and carbon end.

I organized a UKGSER menbers discount of 10% too.

Have a look on the members discount page for details
