Ive only recently noticed to the right of my Nav 6 (Make Life a Ride) a verticle yellow line. + at the top and - at the bottom. Full height of screen.
Comes on and off whilst riding.
For the life of me I can't work out what it's indicating?

At a very wild guess, it might be something to do with traffic conditions, but that usually carries with it some additional displayed results.

If the device is older than the latest generation models, I’d contact Garmin, to arrange an exchange, as it’s only a matter of time before the screen malfunctions anyway.

Vertical (single pixel, or very very thin, see picture) lines on displays might mean the contacts are on their way out.
Not sure about the Nav 6, but the XT's original orientation of the screen is vertical (portrait). So on that one I would expect those type of lines to appear horizontally if the sat nav is kept in landscape mode as I assume the electronics would be turned that side too.

Just to clarify. This isn't a screen fault - well Im pretty sure its not. Its some sort of verticle bar that indicates something. Its about 10mm wide with a + at the top and - at the bottom. Bit like a volume indicator.

What happens if you touch the plus and /or the minus?
It seems to come on without being prompted for say 5/10 sec and goes off. Ive tried touching it on the move with a gloved finger but havent been able to progress.
Will stick with it and see if i can get a picture to post.

After a period of not showing itself the yellow line alluded to in my original post has shown itself on ignition start up.
I did press the + end but it didn't seem to do anything. Stays on for a few seconds the goes. Any ideas anyone?
