Very desirable R90S airhead for sale on ebay.

Lots of knowledgeable people on the forum regarding the R90S. :thumb2

But can any of them spot if this is an R90S or R100 cylinder head? Although Bings were fitted, the 'Bing' carb mount certainly looks newer than the rest of the head, and they are sitting on what I think are 90S barrels (albeit on late 81 R100RS cases) in a 90S frame.

I have a 1975 Daytona Orange, the actual BMW test bike, as seen in all the 1975 mags, HLF 137N.
I also have a 1974 Smoke Grey one, with kickstart and early type switches.
Both totally original, I've owned the Orange one since 1980..
You're more than welcome to ask any questions :)

Thanks for the offer of help with the tricky issues that are likely crop up in the near future now that I have two of these beauties. The real focus of my efforts will be at the end of the summer when I intend to cosmetically upgrade the 75 bike but the early bike will be just carefully used.

Look what I found when looking through my old copies of 'Classic Bike" for Olde Triumph tuning info!

Have you got the magazine?

It's an article from Classic Bike Magazine, where Lord Lichfield is reunited with his 74 R90S. Does this one work?

Thanks for that link Mark and that is my r 90s. I also have a copy of the mag as it was with the bike when I bought it. Interestingly I also have all of the photos from the shoot either those taken by Litchfield or the classic bike photographer. But thanks again for your message.
