Allihies again.. but off to Asia soon....
I was half in mind not to post this on here but have checked and it seems the right thing to do. I paste the news below.

The death has occurred of Chris HUMPHREYS
Behihane, Castlecove, Kerry

Humphreys (Behihane, Castlecove, Co. Kerry) on August 15th 2015, following an accident. Chris, beloved husband of Myfanwy and loving father of Shane, Niall and Owain. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, parents Trevor and Shelagh, sister Nicola, relatives and friends.

Remains arriving to Castlecove Church on Tuesday August 18th at 7.00pm. Funeral service on Wednesday August 19th at 12:30pm. Burial afterwards in Coad Cemetery.

May he rest in peace

ChrisH as he was known on the XRVIreland site that he started up was well known on here too, especially from my point of view as he "sweepered" the last two West Cork Runs. Chris was a great guy and really knew his stuff mechanically and could "make progress" when he wanted to. He died on Saturday in a collision on the Ring of Kerry, I don't know anything else.

The family have asked that they would prefer no motorbikes to attend. A few of the lads from XRVIreland will be there and I will attend on the Wednesday also. He lived ten miles from me as the crow flies but t takes two hours to get there from my place. We met up a number of times for breakfast and chat in Kenmare and I will miss him.

R.I.P. you just never know when ! Thanks for posting
