IMPORTANT PLEASE READ - guys - just a wee thought - if you fit any of these non approved bmw accessories not to mention having no TUV rating - would this have any effect on your very expensive BMW motorcycle two year warranty - in particular would the crud catcher inhibit the cooling of air around your very nicely visually appointed belt cover - having attended many BMW rallys over the years it is evident that BMW do not approve afterfit products outwith the official BMW accessory range - just a thought

My dealer sales the very same Hooton crud catcher. They must think it's ok.

yes I think so mate - i would need some help to design it to fit - can you send images of the front of your hog and tell me if the standard fitting kit would work - being 2 spacers at 63mm and 2 at 60mm?

if not what sort of spacers would do the job?

Soz mate, I can`t do anymore discounts as the price of material has shot up and I haven`t increased my prices accordingly - my stuff is still very good value especially when compared to TT and my stuff is hand finished too!

re the tank I am happy to do it but I would feel better if you ok`d it with the other tank first - he may enjoy the exclusivity and it would be only polite and fair.

ha - don`t know mate. But anyhoo - I`ve been asked by many for a sump guard for long enough now and it was Norman Birtles (a very nice chap) of NN who called and asked me and that was the straw which did it.

With all rubbish to one side I just hope it is well received, I`ve tried to mix bling with `medium` protection (the purists amongst us won`t like it but that is fine - I can always design one for them at a later date) so we`ll see.................
