I’ve bought a 6 litre Desert Fox bladder which I want to attach to my top box on X-Adv to give me a 230/250 mile range .

I need something very short to attach the D-rings on the bladder to the loops on the top box

Looked online including Amazon but can’t seem to find anything short enough . Ta muchly

Why not just make up a strap to go front to back under the fuel bag and then over the top through the D rings? Or even a normal Rokstrap. You only use those things for an hour or so at a time anyway while you use your first gallon or so as they are not designed to withstand being full for any length of time.

Are they legal in Europe? I've had one for years, but only use it where there are few rules

Are you near a BMW Motorrad dealership?. Every crated bike used to come strapped in with numerous short straps. Give them a wink and they might give you a couple. 😉

Cam lock straps. You can get small ones in Halfords bicycle section. I use them a lot, very secure and adjustable.

I would make some
20mm webbing is on eBay
Loads of different plastic clips/fasteners too
Local cobbler and job done

No short ones needed. I would use one rok strap from corner to corner, and feed them through the D-rings. (assuming you can loop through the corners on your box).

Bungy cord that passes through the D rings on the bladder, and hooks either side of the top box, or diagonally across the bladder. You’d only need two.
Lots of different lengths available.

You can get rolls of sticky back Velcro (TM). Stick a length of M & F back to back to make it as long as you want.
Wrap it around a few times and it 'ain't going anywhere'.

These look as if they could do the job. Available from 8" long?
