Very well set up HP2 on eBay

He must've spent as much time bolting stuff on as he has riding it....he's only put 2 and a half K miles on the thing :blast
 
Apart from the obvious that it's worth what someone will pay for it. What do you think it's worth?

Perhaps... but mine only had 3k on it when I bought it from Ricky Bling... I can assure you definitely got some good use of it.

I would guess maybe around 12k... maybe 13?

I haven't a clue about market values for HP2's but I reckon there can't be many pristine examples like that one out there, never mind that it's had some very worthwhile (and expensive) mods (along with a lot of bling/tat).

My way of thinking is that it's pretty much a new bike so, to me £14k tops (the price of a WC) - I suspect it'll go for more than that though :D

Nearly all the trimmings - It still needs better wheels and ideally a MM engine:D

For the right buyer that's got to be worth £15K - However the right buyer maybe more rare than HP2's

IMO - You cant judge them against new 1200 LC Adv, when acquiring mine it was bench marked agaisnt the cost of creating a very special boxer (air, oil or hex) engined based rally bike and an LC adv will be a great bike but it's not that.

You can spend close to £20K for an Airhead Rally bike - So an HP2 with the right mods IMO has to be compared to one of those

verry nice front end and rear schock jeh should be worth 14 to 16 grand easy I would of thought !!! but I cant under stand why remus exaust and not a full akrapovic if your going to such expens and wheir are the SM rims :rolleyes:
 
Got a feeling i bought my Holan racks and boxes of this guy a couple of years ago... He had 2 hp2's at the time and the other one only had about 6,000 miles on it... Great investment as if i remember correct, he didn't give a great deal for it:thumb2
 
Looks very nice (not as nice as my MM though:P).:thumb Would be interested so see what it goes for, but I'm guessing that we won't find out, as its a classified sale.:rob:blast

And I sold him the HP2 the panniers and racks came off.
 
He is looking for 15k plus for that.
He says in the ad a standard one goes for 12+ without the extras and there is 10k of extras.
 
Think (actually know) he wants more than £15k.

Which makes me feel a bit better as it opens a reasonable price gap to the one I've just bought - which is very plain Jane standard by comparison (would have been annoying if it had been in the same ballpark), phew!

Now where is that accesory catalogue...
