Veypor VR2 Datalogger

being a geek i really like data.

has anyone out there succesfully attached a Veypor VR2 datalogger to their bike? I have a 1200GS and fancy having a go with it. I guess it must be fairly simple, as all the bike magazines seem to be able to do it to produce their fancy graphs whenever they review a bike...

I'm less interested in the datalogger, and more interested in the fun I could have with their Head-Up Display

thats a big part of the reason for looking at it.

the standalone helmet-based Head-Up-Display for $194 sounds very cool/reasonably priced. it would be even nicer if you could fit it to the screen of the bike rather than the helmet. hence my interest, it is almost worth an attempt on spec.

its often puzzled me why the in-car gps's don't do more head-up-display stuff on the windscreen. i remember a bmw car (7 series?) that had it a long time ago, but its weird you don't see more of it.
