For Sale Vfr800 fifth generation cheap

Hi up for sale is this 2001 metallic green vfr800. 38/39k miles. It has mot until June 26.
2 keys. All previous mots.
Givi rack and old top box included. This is the pre vtec model with the gear driven cams. Sounds fantastic. Rides great.
The seller just used for a 600 mile France trip and said it ran great.
Bought as a cheap motorway hack a few weeks ago but bizarrely within 3 days of purchase another one in same colour came up for sale with heated grips, bar risers, hagon shock and way fewer owners…so I bought that as well.
I don’t need 2 commuters so I’ll hang onto the one with the better bits.
I only paid £900 for this bike so happy to get money back if someone is in the market for one of these bikes. If not, I guess I’ll keep the pair of them and one will be for spares if anything fails.

Hello!

Due to now owning a 2004 GSA r1150 I have an R1150GS that could do with a new home. (two very similar near identical bikes are just a tad indulgent)

Nicknamed Bertha, she took me to women in moto in 2024, and has been my daily commute bike for 2 and a bit seasons. Multiple trips to the lakes etc. Rear shock was serviced when I got her and a slightly stronger spring added.

Recently serviced/MOT'd with oil and plugs, plus new leads, new speedo cable. Valve clearances done. (over 500 spent) Michelin road pilot 6 on the front, (bought last year due to puncture) road pilot 5 on the...

Me too. The engines on these bikes are something else. Gorgeous sound with the gear driven cams. Think of it as a cheap road going RC30/45 but without the handling/looks/pricetag.
Times must be hard for nobody to part with £900.
There’s one same colour and year and mileage on eBay for £1850.
Granted that’s probably not selling either

There are a miriad of companies that will pick it up & deliver it to your door, even if it costs you £200, which it probably won't, you've still got a lot of bike for that money.
