Been away and have noticed vibration at speeds over 65.
at 85 on the autoroute it manifests itself as a patterned behaviour, has a little vibrate, clears momentarily.. and repeat.

New tires fitted prior to going, so first step is to see if the balance is out on the front, but other than that any suggestions?

Ive never noticed this before.

What tyres, when I had TKC 80s on my bike vibrated a bell of a lot,

Spokes?

Had same issue. Rear wheel was out of true. Put casts on and like a new bike!!

Hopefully it's just a tyre issue

On my second set of RS3s. I find a slight resonance at about 50mph in 5th gear only; super smooth at all other speeds.
Standard exhaust?

Check your tyre pressures are correct. Perhaps Try varying them a little and see if the noise improves.

Not noise but vibes. Tires at correct pressure.. Last set were pilots and good at any speed, these have had the vibes since new so tire or balance are the suspects.. Getting balance checked sat, seems to be coming from front

I get the same throbbing vibration which could be harmonics between tyres and engine/transmission. But its not been worse with the noisy TKC-70s so who knows. It was also no worse when I had side play in the wheel bearing (before the FD was rebuilt).

Had front re balanced. Feels smoother up to 75 at all speeds... There is now an absolute tin of weights on it
