I'm after a little bit of advice.
I'm new to shaft drive, single sided swingarm bikes, that aren't of Japanese origin.
When I'm riding two up on my 05 1200 GS (9000 miles) Alloy wheels, if I lean the bike over (slightly, or boot scraping angle) I get a slight vibration that feels like it's coming from the rear of the bike. It feels like a wheel bearing in a car does when it's begining to fail....
It does it with the clutch in or out. It only does it two up. I can't feel any play in the rear wheel.
It didn't do it before. The tyres are in good nick (Conti trail attacks, 2000 miles on them).
Could it be the rear wheel bearing? Final drive bearing?
The bike has 2 months of warranty left at the dealers (non BMW dealers), which is 80 miles away, so I don't want to ride over there (boring A roads) for no reason, when I could be playing on twisty roads instead..... Or if it's something normal to these German things.....
