Video Cards

Is this the same as what they used to call graphic cards? What is now a decent size video size?

We dont really play games but we use quite alot of Video clips on the 4mp Camera.

The P>C will be 3.0 ghz with 512 mb Ram.

So what size would produce quality

if you don't play games, any old card will do. i'd be inclined to go 64MB RAM & up though.

i have a ATI Radeon 9700 pro 128MB (a hot card a little while back) in one pc, and use some crappy on board graphics chip built into the motherboard on another.

i can't tell the difference in windows.

if i was buying, i'd be looking at something like this or maybe it's cheaper brother here.

if i was playing games i'd want something at the other end of the scale.

I agree with Cookie that 128Mb should do the trick.

Watford do a good card for £30 all in. They are pretty good to deal with too.....
