I thought I'd share my Google Glass video of my new R1200GS Adventure, in Olive Matt Green.

I have an 08 GS but love this new bike. It came with knobbly tyres (factory order) but they will be swapped out first service.

Love this bike!

Nice Bike Scotiasteve. I have ordered one too and can't wait to get out on it. I went for the white though...kinda wishing I had went green, it does look way cool.:thumby:

maybe see you out and about when I finally get on the road. have fun:beerjug:

Best colour :thumb2

I gotta ask, if you had TKCs fitted as a special order why are you swapping them off at the first service? It 'looks' way better with them and they are are fine once they have worn in a bit and you're used to them.

Thanks guys for the kind words, test rode the white but this one was available immediately...

I managed to find a cancelled order and it came with these tyres ordered. After 200 miles or so, they actually feel not bad, and they look amazing.

Most of my riding is road, so I will swap them out, but I think I'm going to let them wear out now and change them out then.

I LOVE this bike, just ordered a set of Globescout panniers to go since BMW are short on left panniers and locks!

Nice vid scotiasteve. How about a ride report via Google glass ? (if it is legal to do so where you live :) ). Just thinking ... it will be quite cool to get speed and other imp information via the glass.

Lovely bike and Google glass quality looks very sharp.

Globescout panniers- have you ordered them from a UK supplier? Will they fit directly onto the WC GSA pannier rails without any need for mods...How do they compare cost wise?

I'm holding back on ordering a pair of ARD panniers, which I really like, but what's stopping me is the additional cost of having to change the BMW pannier rails for an 18mm rail.

Your comments much appreciated.

Thanks, I'll post a decent review when I have a moment, it doesn't fit under the helmet easily though. The new sat nav V is excellent - like a true heads up info screen!

I'm just about to order them, I'm importing from Turkey (€315 shipping cost!!). The quality from the online review on ADVRider looks good, but I think only the top case (40 lt) takes a full face helmet.

Part of me wants to go for the BMW luggage to have the same key, and the ability to fit the lid in the left pannier (Globescouts have a lip I believe) but I should find out today what the story is here...
