Viewing pictures in threads.

Quite often when I look through the threads from this PC, running XP, I can't see the pictures. Default browser is Firefox 1.5.0.4 and I only see the text, no photos. If I use explorer, I only see a little red cross where the image is supposed to be. If I look at the same threads in the office, I see the pics. Any ideas? I've got the 'load images' box ticked on the Firefox options...

Hmm

NOt sure about the firewall, I tried disabling both (Bitdefender and the one I get through working from home for the company), but no difference. I might try another browser, like Netscape. Tomorrow maybe. Off to bed noo...

Aha!!

Tried one more thing before going to bed. Looked in one of the threads I couldn't see the photo in. It was on photobucket, so pasted the link directly into the browser, and the K9 web-policing software kicked in as it was categorised as "open image/media". So, now I cna go to bed a happy man....
