Any recomendations about buying a vinyl seat cover for my 1150GS, I tried doing it myself with a sheet of vinyl.:augie If I had three pairs of hands it may have been viable, I think the radii and angles are too much. Maybee in the factory, the vinly is pre formed on a buck.

Now considering buying a preformed one to staple on myself, anyone tried this job?

Get the new cover nice and warm, perhaps over a radiator or wait til the missus is out and use her hairdryer :augie

Line the front up and put a couple of staples in.

Stretch the back until there's some tension and staple, then go to the corners with a staple after tensioning.

Then go round the rest whacking the staples in.

beforehand you can consider cutting a piece of polythene to fit under the cover for extra waterproofing.

Simple, I've done loads. :)

Mong! Where do you get yours from?

Timolgra, I asume you are talking about preformed seat covers? from where?
