Virus Burst

I have somehow downloaded a feed and link for theis program. I get an error message every 5 mins telling me I have infected files. I have several up to date virus scans etc and I ran these. There are no infected files. I did a search on Virus Burst and it appears to be a scam. How can I remove it from my system. All the search results for removing it seem to involve paying and downloading another piece of software to remove it?

Not free, but has saved my PC a few times, very good.

Either of these may identify files for removal which you may have to do in safe mode. Or they may solve the problem straight away.
