Virus checker recommendations please

My Norton antivirus has run out of time, so I uninstalled it rebooted it and started again. Worked last year but not this.

Anyone out there able to recommend an antivirus for free as AVG seem to have stopped....

i think it may be one of the only item that you should buy...

but if you want you can down load one off bit torrent

but you don't know what could be hidden in the programing

get a lend of a different disc off someone and that i'll work for you and him.

I use Avast on my 4 machines at home. Works extremely well, and seems to update every day - which is good.

NO. AVG is still available free. Although it took ages to find the link, cunningly concealed...

Glad you said that Jimbo, I was getting puzzled.

My AVG is still working very well and getting the daily updates......from time to time I disable it and run Norton or an online check and AVG still finds stuff that Norton doesn't.
