Visible difference?

What are the visible differences between brake pads for Non evo and evo?

I bought some pads only to find there too long for the caliper!

They refuse to fit no matter how much I try and puesade them!

I have a Non evo 2002 1150 and when I lie them back to back the new ones are about 3 - 4 mm longer.

Help please, have I got the wrong ones or is just me?

are they OEM or EBC? i think EBC pads need 'pursuading' with the help of a small file to get them in. Sounds like yours would require a bit more than gentle pursuasion though....

There are differences in the OEM pads as well - my non-ABS GS requires different pads from ABS equipped bikes, but i think in this case it's just the compound that is different....

Its non abs, non evo straight forward pad!

I just fitted a set of Ferodo's to the rear - fitted just fine. (OEM's on the front). maybe you've been sold the wrong set?

eerrmm, sorry Paul, i've PM'd you, i've been sent the wrong pads, they're the evo type, i'll sort it out tomorrow with the supplier.

yours should measure 77mm across the back, they've delivered me evo pads which measure 81mm across the back-- PM'd you.
