Hi all

Travelling from the Emerald Isle to Macclesfield and back via Chester - North Wales (M56 -A55 roads, I think) on Monday and wondering if there are some good bike shops worth diverting for in the immediate area? I can see there's a HG in Chester....anything else that folks might recommend? We're fairly poorly served over here!

I'm not seeking anything in particular.......just browsing for whatever catches my eye, clothing, accessories - possibly a pair of textile Trs for SWMBO.

bill smiths is a good bike shop to have a mooch round............that's in chester.. they have a nice clothes department as well..........

Could give J&S at Northwich a look. Big superstore type place. Some bargins and some rubbish but worth a look if you are passing.

EAR'S Superbikes on Buxton road in Macclesfield, has a few bits and bob's in, and do a bit in Ladies clothing.

And I did hear that Cissbury Leathers have a sale on again on Liverpool Road, Newcastle, small detor but the last sale there were bargins to be had. (TourX £99 )

Then call in for a brew on your way through to Macc, I'm in sunny Congleton

The Tour X's were all £199.00 ........went on Thursday evening.....then I read the advert in MCN and it said Tour Xs were £99.00 on Saturday only ......so I went back on Saturday morning..... the Tour Xs were still £199.00 All the rest were £199.00 , still a bargain.

When I queried it with the guy I was told that there was a shop soiled black one at £99.00 but that had already been sold.

So, Tour X Storm £199.00.
