Any suggestions for this. I this variable weather I tend to wear my System with the chin bar on, no visor when it's warm, just reactolite glasses. However, when it rains, need the visor again of course.

Don't use a rucksac, and don't want to have the visor in the top-box, as it's often full, and I can forsee damage.

Anyone come accross any natty ways of carrying a visor around?

Visor pouch?

I may be wrong, but I think the visor is a key component to lock the chin bar on to the side of the lid? This I read it in the little book somewhere. Might be worth checking :thumb

As for visor pouch - my system 4 visor's too big for the vipro (?) pouch I've got, so a long 'loose' sock in the top box is all I've found so far. If any of the others are large enough, I'd be interested too.

Oxford do a bumbag/visor pouch that even takes the TourX visor (just)

I transport mine on my crash helmet. Up in warmweather. Down in the wet

Not a part of the locking thing on the System - locks at the chin/helmet interface - you can have the peak and the chin on together with no visor "off road" style to use with goggles/sunnies.

Steppers - I want the visor off so that I can have the peak on, which keeps the sun out of the eyes, as and when there is any, as there is no built in one on the IV. Plus if I ride with the visor up at speed on my bike, it catches in the airflow, and makes life uncomfortable.

Cheers all - will have a look see at some of these - if I find a good one, I'll post - mebbe a pouch on a QR on the saddle at the rear - the round the waist option looks a bit tricky - not that I am saying I am lardy or anything, but my waist circumference isn't going to match that of the visor....

Hi BT - Just managed to find my boook and you're quite right - I hadn't realised you're using the peak - that locks into the same place as the visor to hold the hinge mechanism together. Good luck with the hunt. Steve.
