Sold Volvo V90 Cross Country for sale

I'm picking up a new to us vehicle on the 1st April. I have the option of trading our current car in but the trade in offer is on the low side so I thought I'd offer it on here as well as other low places.

It a 2018 plate V90 Cross Country in white which has just crossed over the 76k mileage mark. It's in good condition and I'm the 2nd owner, Stoneacre Volvo being the first. It has a regular service history (volvo expert not main dealer). Everything works and it has all the bells and whistles this model comes with including full leather, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, satnav etc. It's the B5 AWD engine quoted at 235hp with the auto box.

Some pictures attached. I'm looking for 16,500 or thereabouts but I will consider offers from a tosser. Other pictures can be supplied.

Isn't it a D5, with a 5000rpm redline? The B5 is petrol.

Regardless, lovely comfy motors.

Lovely cars - I has the D5 non Cross Country version - one of the best looking wagons on the market, and I've had a few.

I sold mine to Motorway, who gave me significantly more than WBAC, with no deduction at collection time, though my description was very accurate.

Thanks for that. I spent a lot of time messing with them and autotrader today, uploadng photos etc. only to find they won’t let me list because I’ve placed a personalised plate on retention and haven’t got the new V5. Dealer networks rules apparently. Made my day.

Terrific cars! Volvo seats are definitely about the most comfortable in the business...
Only got rid of mine to swap it for an XC90....price is about right too...

Some other bits and pieces I’ve been asked for or thought of:

Service last February. Next one due in 12 months.
MOT due 28th May 2026
Tyres Vreiderstein Wintrac Pro. Great all weather tyres, Plenty of tread left.
I’ve been asked about the cambelt. Checked the service paper and doesn’t appear to have been changed. AI says 75 to 90k miles or 10 years, whichever comes first. I’m assuming the Volvo specialists I use make the decision as to when on physical inspection at service time but I can check with them if it’s an issue.

I've got the same D5 motor in my V90 Inscription. I was both surprised & pissed off that my authorised Volvo Dealer missed the cambelt service which according to their schedule, was due 90k. Fortunately it never detonated and they changed it at 106k with a large discount applied to the cambelt invoice to keep me sweet

Where in Derbyshire do you take her for Volvo non main dealer service please chap? I've just got the D3 V70 (I can't afford the D5 to run, even though I would love a V70 or XC70 with the 5 cyl).

The Volvo workshop just off the A61 at the south end of Chesterfield. Two good lads, Volvo trained, very knowledgeable and helpful. IMO the main Volvo dealers are quite picky about whether it has dealer service history, but non dealer doesn’t appear to affect the value.

BTW vehicle now sold after some serious haggling. Honour satisfied and new car coming Friday.
