I'm just testing the water to see if anyone is interested in my old Dad's XC70 ?
It's the 2.4 D5 Five Cylinder Diesel 6 Speed Auto. The car's done 49500 miles from new. He was the second owner and purchased it from Lancaster Reading with 12k on the clock about 12 years ago. He'd had the previous XC70 for towing his caravan and fancied an upgrade to a newer model which is when he purchased this one.
It has a Volvo quick release towbar which to be honest he only ever used about half a dozen times before selling his caravan and buying a motorhome. The car is metallic black with full black leather etc
I will dig out the service history which is mainly Volvo. I know it had a cambelt replaced by Waylands Volvo Newbury around this time last year (£650ish from memory) They then had it back in for a 12 year service which included four new tyres, a four wheel alignment, coolant replacement, brake fluid replacement and a N/S/R ABS sensor which was another £1800
It even has Volvo Assist until June 2025
I'm thinking it's got to be worth £7950 unless I'm pissing in the wind?
I have no doubt I will be told if I am
