wading depth

Does anyone know the official wading depth of a KTM 525? Mine started to cough and splutter at 1.5ft (could have been a wet plug though).

Re-route the carb balance pipes up into the airbox, or under the seat......

You just need 10 minutes & a 50p 5mm fuel T-piece.

(could have been a wet plug though).

Could well have been. Stick a new plug cap on. They are only three or four quid.

Cheers for the help - I will move the carb hoses anyway as I tend to go through quite a few fords (the wet ones rather than the vehicular ones). I decided to skip doing the 2ft ford as I didn't know exactly where the air intake was on this bike and I don't trust the depth gauges completely.
