Sorry to tell you but Halfords this weekend were selling Zumo 550 for £370 less 10% for online sales = £330!!!

Unfortunately, the offer was for the weekend only but keep your eyes open they may repeat it!!

Durr! That's what you get for looking at the first page only! Ignore me!:mcgun

Also bought one from Halfords. Quick question I want to get an SD card, does the Zumo accept SDHC? (High Capacity class 6) as these are going cheap at the moment.

Cheers

I see from looking at the Zumo disc on the PC that there is only 195MB of free space out of nearly 2GB . Does this mean you have to store routes on an SD card or is there room for a few on the drive?

I've never created a Mapsource route so i've no idea about file sizes yet.

Halfrauds screwed me! They wouldn't accept an Irish credit card to begin with so I got a friend to put in the order who lives in London - they kept cancelling it though saying there was trouble with the card
He put it in using 3 separate cards and even got his flat mate to try it and they kept getting cancelled - looks like they didn't want to honor the offer after all - this would have been on Sunday.
Probably ran out of stock?

No, they had stock. Although the offer was supposedly only for the weekend it was available right up until Monday night, I ordered mine just after 1800 hrs on Monday evening and got it yesterday.

Oh yes, thanks to CBFer for posting about it :thumb

Had my Zumo 550 stolen and was going to replace it before Christmas when the price was £346 + postage.
Then prices climbed to £390 + postage.
The weather is getting a bit more bike friendly now so I am going to have to pay up:mad:
Cheapest looks like £370 + postage from Pentagon with 2008 V10 maps.

Was hoping for £350 delivered but it doesn't look likely:spitfire

Unless someone out there knows better?:aidan

£341.98 Delivered

At mynewcheap Apparently a "whitebox" is a brand new, and exactly the same as a regular unit, except that it has been sent back for the V10 maps to be loaded.

Also £347.04 delivered at Petagongps This is a Newely Overauled ??? (NOH), which also comes in a white box, "only difference is the colour of the box", and is similarly a unit that has been sent back to have V10 installed by the factory.

Zumo 550 price gone up today !

Zumo 550 (only) was subjected to a price increase today.. effective immediatley ... its gone up 30 Squid, so expect this to be passed on as dealers working on tad little margin already.

And again today

Another £50 quid today on MRP, that's £80 this month  those who bought are lucky, those holding out for cheaper deals have missed out.

See earlier post regarding price paid. My Zumo 550 was a bargain. Used it on a LEJOG trip last week and took me where I wanted to be and warned me of the accident black spots (AKA Speed Scameras)

Saved me a few quid!:)

Got Lucky

Looking for a Zumo 550 last weekend.

Checked Amazon and a subsidiary had a brand new one (not white box) with description of 'slightly damaged outer box' for £283 inc postage.

Ordered it and wondered if a crushed Zumo would appear.:o

Duly arrived on Weds and outer box had a small crease in it. Contents in perfect condition.

Am well pleased. :thumb2

Hi,
I am also looking at purchasing a Zumo 550. I have Auto com Active rider fitted to my bike. Will Zumo 550 run with this version of autocom? I noticed that Amazon deliver new 550 for £358. Whats this price like?

Paul
