Northants Rob - Yes, got it from Steve at Woollastons - I was very satisfied with the service (Well, it's got 120miles on it and not broken down yet - whoops, shouldn't have said that; it's tempting fate rather)!

Ruadh08 - Crash bars are SW Motech from Nippy Normans £124.

Marco - lucky man living in Brusels; I stopped in Wavre and worked in Rixensart for a couple of years and loved it over there. Anyway, yes, your bike does look good - nice photo .... and very shiny exhaust! I particularly like the BMW emblem cover plate on the frame, right hand side. Where did you get it and how much?

Yes shiny bike when I took the photo as it had only 6 km on the clock...now after 800 km the bike is full of dirt !
I bought the BMW emblem on Ebay three years ago; can't remember the company but it was a British company. I found a similar emblem here but with a GS logo:

Very nice!! I see the engine bars do not have the cross member under the bash plate. This is the '08 version from SW Motech, so does anyone know if these bars will fit an '07??? I would think so, since there does not appear to be any design changes in the frame / engine from '07 - '08.
