Want to increase the idle a bit.

Interesting test ride.

I've put 25 miles this AM and its running lovely , idles at 1000 rpm and seems much happier so I'm loathed to mess with anything. No bad thing as the vacuum screw on one side has given up its life, I'll remove that when I have two new ones in my hand. I'll also check the idle in cooler weather, but as suggested maybe I'm over egging the carb thing a bit and should just leave well alone.

These ole airheads can be funny things, very variable in their tuning, atmosperic conditions I suppose.......

Over the last few days (much hotter weather here) I have been thinking hmmmmm need to do a spot of fettling, not running as sweet as it can - then today, was absolutly stormin sweet as a nut - best its been running for ages.......smooth, crisp, clean, was like Rossi carving a line........(sort of)

Yeap I agree I was an airhead at one with his Airhead today... Even my front brake feels ok.
