Wanted: 1150GS/A spotlight grill scan/stl

Hey folks,

This is a bit of a shot in the dark, but has anybody got a scan, or 3D printable file for the optional GSA spotlight grill?

The part is nla, and used parts are rainbow unicorn poo, and I've said that I'll try to re-print a part for a mate, or model a new part from a scan, or worst case start from scratch measuring something up.

One slight issue is that I've been living in NZ for the last 20 years, so I'm a bit out of touch with what you guys are up to these days

I lent one of mine to a guy on here a few years back now, he scanned it and produced some 3d printed ones successfully… I’ve looked through my messages but can’t see who it was . Maybe the boss can look back and see who it was … Boss man ?
 
That would be great if you could find something.

I'm anticipating having to re-model the part, so I'd be happy to start from 3D scans rather than expecting someone to hand over an STL.

Course it doesn’t, I’m more than happy to go and get this one for you,( I’ll pay for it ) you get me a flight to NZ, pick me up from the airport. Hand the light over .. job done . I’ll need a couple of weeks to get over the jet lag etc. Don’t suppose you have a spare room ? A bike to ride about a bit would be good as well 👍Hope that helps you out and get back to me if it’s a goer 👍

Well it's certainly worth considering.

Let me think:
Spare room - Check
Airport taxi service - Check, if you insist.
Bike - the 1150 GS is out on loan to a mate, but Florence the R80 GS bumblebee could be available
Return flights - I need to get home first and check how much change has fallen down the back of the couch, but I'll get back to you ... ;)

I've got some that i don't need. You can have it for free, just pay the shipping cost. I am in Singapore mind you.
You want the grill only or the whole fog light?
