Hi, I'm looking for an used Aerostich Roadcrafter either size 42R/42L although I'd consider a size 44 for the right price. I've been scrawling through ebay for a while, to no avail.
Stick with it. I spent almost 2 years looking for a user Roadcrafter, including one 'false positive' that didn't fit.
Hugely worth it though, the quality is exceptional - I'm looking forward to a cold trudge up the M40 to the NEC show in November because I know I'll be toasty. So hang in, even though it may take a while.

I have a 42L I don't use anymore as I now have a 44. It's black with red patches. I would need to check the condition of it as I haven't used it recently. Let me know if you are interested.

A Roadcrafter itself isn’t necessarily a warm garment, but 1) because it has its own armour, you can wear layers of down, fleece etc under it rather than your usual bike jacket, 2) it’s good at eliminating draughts and 3) it’s a heavy material, so does not flap and ‘pump’ cold air into your oversuit like some nylon ones - because of all that, you can be nice and warm.
I now have Berin's 42R Roadcrafter. Excellent nick (Grey with black on the shoulders), everything works as it should and he kindly sent me a set of D30 Armour and a Forcefield back protector as well. (both way better than the oem stuff). Trouble is I guess I'm now just a wee bit too chubby for the suit to be comfortable on me so it's up for sale again at the price I paid, which was £225 posted. Will sort some pictures out later. Mark
Well ….. I’ll do some actual measurements on Sunday, but i reckon it would be great for someone up to 34 waist, 42 chest and 31 inside leg. Exactly as i like to think of myself, except the waist has crept up 3 inches. i’m a 43 chest and that was ok, but around the waist it was borderline. Way better for extra layers at 42/34
The US sizing seems to allow for more girth to height... I ended up buying fae here a 2 piece suit that is probably 1 or 2 sizes bigger than I need re chest and waist but is long enough in the leg and arms for lanky me...
If I was 6'5" in the US they'd probably have me at about 20 stone rather than 14...
There's room for me to pack layers in the winter and TBH, the space in the summer just allows more air to help you cool ..
That's buying 2nd hand... I'm sure if it was a new built custom suit they'd be able to understand our svelteness....
