Points cans fit OK, if you want one to fit a Boyer, and with a little fiddling the Boyer fits into a Hall effect can too.
They are getting expensive, or worn out and too expensive to repair, which is why most folks are changing to a aftermarket system like an Emerald Isle which includes a new can, and a digital A/R system with a proper curve, etc,etc----------.

Sorry for the delay replying. Seems I don't get email notifications any more.
I contacted the usual parts suppliers and also found online a couple of fancy all-electronic units.
There are more available than I expected - s/hand OEM units I mean.
I'm sorted now - I hope, - awaiting the postal delivery from a nice man in Swansea. If not, I'll certainly follow-up your offer Roger.
