Hi folks

I’m on the lookout for a decent 330CI convertible, must be manual, preferably post-facelift (2003 ish I think).

I’m happy with bigger mileage if the provenance is good.

What have you got/know about?

Cheers aye

I had a late MY03 BMW M3 Convertible in Estoril Blue with SMG2 gearbox and the factory hardtop. Wish I’d kept it. Brilliant car.

My neighbour, after a bout of serious ill health, passed his 330 cab to his son a few months ago. His was a 2005 manual as per the image above. It had a full repaint a few years ago, along with new leather on the front seats (worn bolsters). Mileage was just north of 120k IIRC. However I sense the arrangement was to clear the decks should the worst happen, rather than any real desire on son's part. It's not immaculate, just a reasonable example that someone has gone through carefully, with a motor that certainly packs a punch.

I can easily approach him to check whether it's likely to be available, if it's something that might interest you.

Lifted from his Facebook page “
Were selling our
2003 bmw M3 SMG, in Phoenix yellow we just don’t use it, it’s an amazing car, it’s also got a hard top, FSH, drives like new, no rust anywhere 79k miles, £16500”

I’ve see it in the flesh and it looks tidy.

Id avoid anything with smg box or factor in converting it to manual, smg was great when it first came out but 20 years later not so.
