My son and I are about (20th July) to embark on a short notice 3 week TET trip through France on a couple of CRF300s

He’s a big lad, 6ft, 100kg (fortunately the suspension is sorted on his bike)

I’m after tent/sleeping bag/sleeping mat for him, preferably in the midlands area

Happy to collect, average sort of a budget, certainly not top end stuff required

We’ve got cooking stuff but all general motorcycle camping gear considered 😁

Thank you

Take son and your wallet to Halfords (or their web page) and avail yourselves of their end of season sale, which seems to be on permanently. All good enough for a one off trip and easy over the next fortnight.

Blue Light/Forces Discount at Millets etc ??

Snugpak season 2 sleeping bag with compression sack never used and Hi Gear self inflating sleeping matt £40 collected, I'm located near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire just off the A1. I also have a tent in the garage somewhere but may be a bit big for just one, would need to dig it out to check make and model and a large roll top waterproof bag to stuff everything in.
Pm me if interested, cheers
Ron

Some more pics, there may be more 'stuff' in the garage would need to have a rummage.

Sound advice but so often, a wanted plea has encouraged someone to get off their arse, go into the garage and find something worth 40 quid
Thus seller, buyer and seller’s wife are inevitably happier and the Chinese economy doesn’t grow a tiny bit more

The sellers wife doesn't need to know and it's more cash for the sellers new bike fund🤣🤣

Indeed, so.

There are several adverts in this sub-section, with bods looking to offload some basic kit. Any of those any good?

Got an Alpkit Aeronaut tent in the loft doing nothing. Perfect for on the bike as it packs down to nothing having no poles. Bought for Bikepacking, used on one trip then an MSR came up on here so now surplus to requirements
