Wanted. Nuvi 770 power cable.

My wife loves her Nuvi 770. But the power cable / suction cup mount seems to have ended its life. The power keeps turning on and off due to a bad connection at the plug in the suction mount. Anyone got one for sale ? She really needs it for work. Or we will have to buy her another GPS .

You should be able to power a nuvi 770 via the USB port on the side. SWMBO has a 770 in her car and I certainly powered it that way in the USA a few years ago, after wrecking the powered mount using it on a rented GS.

Zumos use the same power cable and I bought one of those from the US a while back to use with a car mount for my Nav IV.

If it's the powered mount for the nuvi that's damaged, rather than the cable, they certainly used to be available separately - I got one in the US to replace the one that I broke using it on a bike.

As Schtum says; I use the power lead from a Zumo 660 to power my Nuvi 765. The 765 and 770 have the same connector.
