I have been quoted £375 to have the bike crated and shipped back to UK

Given that looks to be a fixed cost, if buying from abroad I would have a look at some that are more expensive but maybe better. On the 1st link(for xcountry) there is one in Spain near Malaga (fuengirola) for 3600 Euro. Quite low miles iirc.

Blimey that makes the UK bikes that were advertised here in the UK the last 6 months or so seem to be very good bargains. Perhaps mine is going up in value, that would make a change !

My last xc went to a guy in Poland a couple of months back, so not sure how many are left in the UK now, but its one less. Must have been cheaper for him to buy here and transport than getting something locally. Falling pound may make purchases here more attractive now than they were a year ago.

interesting link re how many are currently taxed and sorned in the UK. There are 106.

More than my TE630 - there are only 17 of them (I know 3 of them)

Interesting link but the data is not very accurate (see their own disclaimer) as its all about how your model name is recorded in the V5 (my G/S for example is only shown as an R80), and I have had this with other cars/bikes as well) - and prior to 1972 paper records only, and the data harvested from this is very haphazard.
