Had PIAA 1100X on my GS.....
New GS with OEM Hella fogs and fitted the new PIAA 530LED's, only to discover that although bright, they are no better than the Hella's!!

So what to fit to the FL?
Keep to round lights?
Only the smaller lights are okay on the forks or caliper mounts but crash bar mounted....?

Is it really really dark where you are ?

Nope but I just like to be able to ride when it IS dark! Got slightly lost in Northern Spain, GPS not calibrated properly - obviously and it got dark. Finding ourselves at the top of a mountain pass at 9.45 in mid-May, the PIAA's made all the difference!
Tail bike had HID conversions in ALL his lights so the two riders in between us were slightly dazzled.

Perhaps it is in preparation for the next solar eclipse. :D

Tricky...... Don't tell me you are another "I don't ride in darkness?"

Try good lights, they make it a lot more enjoyable. Even in the Southern States, riding at night through Mississippi and Louisiana, you gotta be able to see the critters.....

I do... but normally only on the GS as its festooned with LEDs. The lights on the Harley are rubbish! :D

Those daymaker things look good and are plug and play but are very expensive. :(

I ride regularly I the dark on unlit roads on my Harley...no problem to me at all with the standard lighting set up.

However, the queue of traffic behind me may not be so impressed....:P

Sorry Jackass, you have lost me..... Are you talking about lights or GPS??

...We just relocated from the US and I did buy a Crystal Headlight for the bike but might look at yours'. They look a bit like the Angel Eye lens lights...?

mainscots they are shaped flat like the conventional stock lights not rounded out like as Angle Eye lights are. Actually this reminds me I still have the Truck-lites in boxes. Within a year or so of installing them I reinstalled the stock lights and kept the LED's when I traded the bike, so I should sell them. The LED headlight projects out just slightly beyond the chrome ring but HD sells a slightly wider ring that goes right over the stock ring to finish it off so I have that too. The LED passing lamps fit exactly as stock.
BTW did you relocate from Maine?

Yes, 28 miles inland from Kennebunkport and only 10 miles from NH. The FL was my last purchase before we moved.

Kinda miffed about the whole move but your health is your health and without total cover medical insurance......?
Oncologists here put me on a great daily injection regimen at $1400.00 per week.....even from Walmart!!!
