I had this problem with my 05 GSA (1150), spent ages trying to work what the problem was. Then found myself down at Vines one afternoon and brought up the subject... The advice was to change the rear brake light bulb.. Vines supplied a new one I fitted it there and then and "Hey Presto"...Problem Solved :thumb

If the tail/brake lamp is OK then try pouring a few bucket loads of clean warm water (not too hot to put your hand in) over the sensors as there is a good chance that salt/detergent residue has crystalised and is interfering with it.

I had the same problem, gave it a thorough rinse, immediately went for a run, the light was still on initially, after a couple of miles I stopped and turned off the engine. When I restarted the fault was cleared.

If you do try this be sure to check that the brakes are working normally and be aware that in an emergency the ABS may not be functioning.

problem solved

:clapthe middle connection(earth) on the back of the rear light fitting was crimped on but the wire was not connecting only the outer plastic was!!,re crimped connection" ding dang do" warning light has gone out.
