The neutral warning light on my 1989 R100GS-PD recently began to fail to come on and at the weekend, failed completely. A complete bugger to get to as so much needs undoing but I discovered that the bulb holder (Motorworks INA43518) is no longer available from BMW. Fortunately MW had some secondhand ones at £5(ouch) each. The reason for the failure? One of the tiny brass terminals had be soldered on by a PO, and it had dropped off.
