My 3 year old GS 1150 has now done 26,000 miles and the left hand disc has now warped, I had the right hand side replaced just after the warranty had expired (on a goodwill claim) but my question is, has anybody any experience of the cast discs that Motorworks advertise, what are your thoughts?
I have never had to replace discs like this before, i know i ride quite hard, but none of my other bikes that i`ve had (Blackbirds etc) have i had this problem with. I haven`t really got any intentions to get rid of the bike, i like it too much.
Mind you, an R1 in silver just looks soooo good, i think it is probably the best looking bike to have ever come out of Japan.
