Past 3 southern reg GS riding blokes near Kyle of lochalsh on Saturday. The 1150 running at the rear was sporting a ukgser sticker on his pannier.

Pasted them again later that day (well i did say they were riding GSes:D:D) in the Glencoe area.

Were they from this parish???

Curiosity is getting the better of me..

Frank1200 and a few others were up there last week. Unfortunately they had to leave one of their number in a hospital after a coming together with a car. :(

Us?

It could have been meself and the Brother and another mate. Had a few great days riding beyond from wednesday till sunday. Did about 1200miles, ate lots of salmon and drank a fair few beers. The whole of the UK must have headed to Scotland on Saturday with the good weather. Lots of bikers up there. Great Craic all round.

Wasn't it a phenomenal place to be this weekend :thumb. I was on the KTM Adventure along with Mullabrack's Pan loaf. There's not really a bad time to be in the Highlands, but when the weather's like that, it's a piece of biking heaven.

No Peg standers!!

No peg standing Celt,no city centre traffic to get through:D although there was more traffic than i ever seen before up there.
Just 3 boys enjoying their GSes and being content within themselves:augie

Hey Big Fella, what a weekend for you to pick to ride through what is really somewhere a little bit special.

Hope you enjoyed the ride:aidan

Yeah as i said above, fantastic. Its great for a short break. £80 return on the stenna and 3-4 hrs from the boat you are in the heart of great biking territory.Heck, i might take a Christmas break or even hogmany.

Aye, that'd be us. We'd camped in Applecross the night before and were sort of vaguely making our way southwards at that stage.

You're right about he friendly natives. We would tend to head for the Highlands a lot and the reception's always good. Roll up anywhere and, within minutes, you'll be chatting to somebody about the bikes they have/would like to have/used to have :rob.
