were you the pathetic twat who was so lacking in imagination that they felt the need to post a thread about a forthcoming trip to Scotland with the completely original title of "Recommend Me A Route..." or something similar?

If so, here's a bit of advice: Use the search facility or Ride Report section (FFS ther must be dozens of Scotland trips in there: many of which have Scotland in the title which can be a bit of a clue) or better still: use your imagination.

Can you imagine travelling to such a far away place as Scotland and riding roads unknown to you and not ones others have already ridden and told you about?

Sound crazy? It just may open your horizons man:augie

Welcome to Scotland...

O...kay. I'll probably regret this, but why am I "the saviour of the Scotland Section"?

Because you're one of the up and coming starlets. The likes of you and MorayGSer are the new life blood.

To answer the OP not me:)

After last saturday's bimble though I'd certainly recommend the B840 to whichever individual with limited imagination asked me to suggest a route. Mostly single track, lots of gravel along the centre, blind summits, hidden dips, tight blind bends and a mostly decent surface. Itsastoater.

Great run but the bottom bush on the rear shocker is now f..........., ehm in need of replacement.

It would appear that you can only aviate on an 1150 so much before mass and gravity gets you in the wallet.:D

Are you the one so lacking in imagination that you felt the need to create a new thread instead of replying to the original post creator?

"We'll keep a welcome in the hill-sides, we'll keep a welcome in the glens....."

What a great idea, an even better idea might be to stop folk asking anything on the site in all sections..... chances are all questions have been asked/answered before so a search would reveal all ;)

Can anybody recommend a guide to using the search facility? :augie

:D :D :D

and in case anybody was like me and wondered where the B840 is its up the side of Loch Awe (I used Google to search of it :D )

I have just completed a search on some of the roads and view points we found when in Scotland. I would have thought they would have been posted hundreds of times, they were so great, but alas not.

Having considered the original posters comments, and if it is to be believed, I can only assume no one in Scotland who posts on here has found them yet.

I will not bore you all with a list of said roads and vantages we found , for example the road to, and scenery around Castle Tioram.

RONNO if you would like to PM me I am more than happy to give you the benefit of my experience, I would hate for you, or anyone else, to miss out on some fantastic rides that are on your door step, simply because not everyone correctly posts them under the right heading. (Some might call that lacking in imagination, I wouldn’t be so bold)

Well done Ronno you are a credit to Gssers, those who rely on tourism to make a living in the area , and the people of Scotland in general. :clap:clap

Thanks again for the positive PMs and replies very much appreciated.:thumb2
