I was wondering has anyone had any problems machine washing their trousers as ive just washed mine on the correct temperature and the suede on them has gone all shitty ie all hard and cracked.I paid around €400 for these and am really pissed off that they now look like shit would bmw cover these on warranty as this is the first time they have been washed.Any advice would be appreciated.:spitfire

I had a Rallye suiit, I never had a problem when washing it.

I just kept to the instructions (as you say you did) and although the leather took longer to dry than the rest, it returned to normal once it was dry.

The only thing I can think is that it may have dried too quickly (a bit like the way leather boots will get stiff and crack a little if you put them on a radiator to dry-out).

I've just washed my BMW Atlantis leather suit for the third time in 18 months. I always makes sure that it dries naturally and it's fine.

What dtergent did you use? Did you also make sure that the detergent tray was spotless and the machine was clean so that there wasn't any contamination?

Speedo, The samething happened to mine when i washed them, so i soaked the leather parts and hung then up in the garage to "slow" dry and that did the trick, there good as new now :thumb2

Hope this helps you out.
